Friday, 14 August
7:00 PM – Love – A Concert Performance | Fredriksvern Church
Celebrated actress Lise Fjeldstad reads works by Hamsun, Børlie, Moren Vesaas, Jacobsen, Fosse, and Ibsen, while acclaimed pianist Håvard Gimse performs music by Chopin, Satie, Tveitt, Schumann, Sæverud, and Grieg.
Saturday, 15 August
11:00 AM – FREE Teddy Bear Concert: Askeladden and the Super Violin | Det Gule Galleriet
A musical fairy tale for children and adults alike with Berit Cardas (violin and narration), Iver Cardas (guitar), and Frida Wærvågen (cello). Bring your favourite teddy bear!
1:00 PM – Sacred Songs | Nerdrum Museum
Soprano Marianne Folkestad Jahren and composer Martin Romberg perform selections from Sacred Songs and Gösta Nyström's Songs by the Sea. Aftur Nerdrum reads poems from Love Songs.
6:00 PM – Festival Gala Concert | Fredriksvern Church
The festival concludes with a gala concert featuring Terje Tønnesen, Håvard Gimse, Frida Wærvågen, and Lise Fjeldstad. During the concert, the Arve Tellefsen Talent Award will be presented.
