Midgard Competition 2026
The competition is open to young musicians from all over Norway and includes classical guitar, voice, strings, piano and ensembles.
Participants compete in different age categories. Winners receive cash prizes and may be offered concert opportunities through the competition’s partners. The Midgard Prize is NOK 20,000. All participants receive written feedback from the jury.
The category winners will be presented on Sunday 18 October at 14:30 and will perform at the prize-winners’ concert at 16:30 the same day.
