Lillavendel Farm Café is located at Søndersrød farm in Helgeroa, in the Brunlanes area near Larvik. The café serves seasonal lunches prepared with produce from the farm's own fields and local suppliers. Choose a table indoors or sit outside in the garden, with the farm's alpacas nearby.
Seasonal lunch from farm to table
One of the café's specialities is its "Fra jord til bord" (Farm to Table) lunch platter, featuring vegetables grown on the farm and ingredients from local producers. The selection changes with the seasons and the availability of fresh ingredients, making each platter a little different.
Afternoon tea at the farm
Lillavendel also offers afternoon tea for friends, families and groups. The menu includes freshly baked scones, homemade lemon curd and tea. Afternoon tea must be booked in advance. Current prices and available dates can be found on Lillavendel's website.
Farm shop and alpacas
Next to the café, the farm shop sells seasonal vegetables, locally sourced food and Lillavendel's own skincare products, soaps, fragrance oils and candles.
The farm is also home to alpacas. Guided alpaca walks are offered throughout the year and must be booked separately. They can be combined with a visit to the café.
Opening hours and visiting
Lillavendel is located at Helgeroveien 1104 in Helgeroa and welcomes visitors in both summer and winter. During the summer season, from 10 June to 20 August, the usual opening hours are daily from 11 am to 6 pm. For the rest of the year, opening hours are listed as Wednesday to Sunday, 11 am to 4 pm.
