A full-day hike with several climbs
The route is graded as moderately demanding, but its length and repeated climbs make it best suited to experienced hikers. UT.no lists the route as 24.4 kilometres with approximately 640 metres of total ascent. Allow a full day. The estimated walking time is around six hours, but plan additional time for breaks, navigation and enjoying the views. The route follows woodland trails and some roads, with steep sections along the way. The route description includes a particularly steep, rope-assisted climb at Hjertås.
