At Stall Verdens Ende, you can take a guided alpaca walk through the coastal landscape of Tjøme. Get to know the animals' individual personalities, learn about their behaviour and enjoy an outdoor experience with family or friends.
Take an alpaca for a walk
Meet Sondre, Ivar and Aune, three of the alpacas at Stall Verdens Ende. Each has its own personality, and your guide will explain how to interact with and handle the animals. Alpacas are herd animals that prefer to stay together, so the whole flock walks as one group. You'll learn to lead an alpaca using a halter and lead rope and help feed the animals their special food.
A guided walk by the sea
The walk follows roads and nature trails through varied terrain, surrounded by fresh sea air and coastal scenery. The pace is adapted to the alpacas, and your guide shares insights into their behaviour and needs.
For children, adults and groups
Participants aged 12 and over can lead their own alpaca. Younger children may share one with an accompanying adult. Everyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. The walk requires the ability to manage varied and sometimes uneven terrain. The organiser can adapt the pace or choose an easier route if arranged in advance. Dogs and pushchairs are not permitted. Stall Verdens Ende also offers tailored experiences for birthdays, corporate outings and other groups.

Combine your alpaca walk with a visit to Verdens Ende – The World's End, known for its distinctive tipping lighthouse, coastal rocks and views across the archipelago in Færder National Park. At Stall Verdens Ende, you can also discover other activities, including horse riding and equestrian experiences.
Plan your walk
The alpaca walk lasts approximately one hour, although the duration may vary depending on the animals' pace. The activity takes place outdoors. Dress for the weather and wear shoes suitable for roads and nature trails. Footwear previously used in other stables or farm buildings must be cleaned before arrival for biosecurity reasons.
All participants must follow the guide's instructions and respect the animals' welfare.
Advance booking is required. At least two parties, each with their own alpaca, are needed for the walk to take place.
