Eidene

Banqueting
The kitchen is renowned for its delicious food and they offer a wide range in their menus.

Gamlehuset
“Gamlehuset” was originally the main house on Eidene and was built in 1720. It is thus one of Tjøme's oldest log houses and has a lot of history.
Here you can have a banquet in stately and pleasant surroundings.
The house has a dining room, lounge, kitchen and wardrobe. Capacity up to 40 people.

Sjøstua
“Sjøstua” is located in the main house and can accommodate 50 people. Here you can light a fire in the fireplace, which makes for a nice atmosphere.

Furusund
“Furusund” is located in the main house and is a bright and spacious room which is perfect for larger parties.
Here you can choose to sit furthest into the room by the fireplace or use the entire party room for larger events.
Eidene serves food and drink and can promise a lovely meal! Capacity up to 120 people.

Sjøbua
“Sjøbua” is located on the water's edge on Eidene beach. With a maritime environment and a beautiful view, you are guaranteed an unforgettable day or evening.
On the menu in Sjøbua Eidene has an barbecue option, cured food or a shrimp dinner. Capacity up to 30 people.

Vikingstua
Back to the Viking Age: Eidene lights the fireplace in the middle of the room, light the lanterns and prepares for an unforgettable evening!
In the Viking House you can choose from the 3 course menus; Odin's victory meal, Emblas choice and Viking special. Capacity up to 70 people.

Bålstua
In “Bålstua” you can relax around the campfire and enjoy food and drinks from Eidene's Viking menus. Capacity up to 40 people.

The beach
If you want the party outdoors in a beautiful archipelago environment, Eidene beach is the place! They prepare a large table, and delicious food is served to suit the surroundings.

Catering
The Red Cross Center – Eidene delivers catering at the highest standard. They have a broad selection of both warm and cold dishes, with everything from their tapas buffet, a 3-course menu, impressive seafood and much more.

They offer free delivery in Tjøme, and it costs 200 kr to get delivery in Tønsberg.

Red Cross Center – Eidene is owned by the Norwegian Red Cross, and have an important social responsibility. Every time you order food from Eidene, you also contribute to the humanitarian work they do – and you help make a difference.

Mostranda badeplass

The campsite, which is located north of the beach, has access to a kiosk and WC with shower.

Although it can be very windy on Tjøme, here you can always find a cozy spot by the rocky cliffs.

The beach is located on the south-west side of Tjøme, 5 km from Tjøme Center in the direction of Verdens Ende (The World's End).

Access: From Helgerødveien, turn right towards Mostranda. Parking options either at the campsite or 200 meters before.

Bekkevika badeplass

Somewhat variable bottom that alternates between sand, rock and seaweed. Jumping on the outside of the bare rockfaces is possible. Stairs at the far end for easy access over said rockfaces.

At Bekkevika you will find a paved walkway down to the swimming area from the car park.

Tandem jump with Skydive Tønsberg

Try a tandem skydive!

Skydive Tønsberg's tandem instructors are among the most excperienced in Norway, and will safely take you through the skydive. From 4.000 meters you will get approx 40 seconds of free fall before the instructor releases the parachute around 1.500 meters above the ground. During the five minute canopy ride you can enjoy the beautiful view of the Oslo fjord, the islands and the surroundigs of Jarlsberg airport. 

Skydive Tønsberg 4-6 days a week, located at Jarlsberg airport right by E18 outside Tønsberg. The season for skydiving is from the end of April to the middle of October.

Coastal trail in Moutmarka

Moutmarka 3km from Skåebukta to Mostranda.

Parking at the World End. Follow the fence north, west in Skåeveien, across the field and through the gate. Marked trail to Mostranda. Return the same way or follow Moveien to the walkway along Helgerødveien and back.

Do you want a double espresso? Your own kind of latte? Or todays perfectly brewed coffee? bare barista got you covered. You can also buy coffee beans in bulk and get the beans grinded the way you want them.

You’ll find the coffee shop in a backyard, protected against rain and wind, warmed by the sun and to the sound of bird song. At lunch times it's a good idea to get there early: the backyard gets full quickly. If there is no room for you in the backyard, don't worry, just walk out the door and take a right. Here you’ll find cosy sofas and tables for you and your friends. Bring a book, or use the space as you office. There is free WiFi.

Eidene

Eidene has 550 acres of land in scenic surroundings, with the forest, the beach, rocky mountains and docks nearby.

In addition to good food and good facilities, Eidene can offer activities that everyone can participate in. You get to decide – the combination of having fun together and moving boundaries makes for memorable experiences.

After the activities you can, for example, end it all in Eidenes Viking house in the forest. You can have dinner around the fireplace. The perfect atmosphere for good conversation, good food and drinks.

You can also enjoy dinner on the beach during the summer season. Either way, Eidene will make sure you have a memorable day!

Eidene has a wide range of activities that can be customized and organized for any group. They use the forest for many of their activities; collaborative exercises such as the quiz trail, the Bermuda Triangle, the Balance Sheet and the obstacle course, competitive activities such as air rifle, ax throw and super sprayed. The Eidene also has activities on the beach and canoes, rowing boats or boat trips if the weather allows it.

You can also take part in the Witch Jump – a rope path 12 meters above the ground, or hike on the many trails in the forest, canyons and at rocky mountains. This, and much more you can experience at Eidene!
