Vikinghike and Mead Tasting

Guided tour where you get to experience Tønsberg's rich Viking history!

Explore impressive Viking ships at Vikingodden, see craft traditions come to life, and take part in historical highlights such as Slottsfjellet and the city's iconic viewpoints.

The tour includes mead tasting – either as a break on the road or an atmospheric ending.

Row viking ship

After a short review of the ship, commands and rowing training, the ship sets out from Tønsberg harbor and out through historic areas to the Vestfjorden.

The tour starts and ends at Vikingodden (right outside the Quality Hotel Oseberg at Tønsberg brygge).

Dress according to the weather! Remember that it is always cooler at sea than on land. It is a good idea to bring a sweater, even on hot summer days.

The ship is rented with a mate, crew and safety boat.

POUR – by Signe is located at Østveien 667 in the centre of Tjøme, in Færder municipality. The wine bar and café offers a selection of wines, coffee and other drinks, alongside light lunches, cheeses, cured meats and homemade cakes. Galleri Gudem

Galleri Gudem is a waterfront art gallery on Hvasser in Færder municipality, exhibiting contemporary visual art and crafts in an 85-square-metre boathouse spread over two floors. Visitors can explore summer exhibitions featuring invited artists, discover prints, paintings and handmade artworks, and enjoy the coastal surroundings. During the summer, the gallery also has a restaurant with covered outdoor seating.

Outside the summer season on Hvasser, art is also presented at Atelier Gudem at Kirkemarka 2 on Tjøme. According to the gallery's own information, artworks are moved to the atelier in September, with visiting opportunities continuing through May. Rosenli Gård

Rosenli Gård, just outside Tønsberg, is a welcoming place for families, with a farm animal area, garden, café and farm shop.

Animals and activities
Meet the farm’s six horses, cats, dogs, chickens, rabbits, cows, calves, goats and peacocks. There are also mini carousels for young children.

Autumn at Rosenli Gård
The farm animal area and café are open every Thursday, Friday and Sunday.
Children can sign up for rabbit feeding in the café. They will be given herbs to feed the rabbits and information on how to interact with them safely.

Every Sunday from 11:00 to 12:00, there is a guided tour of the farm animal area with pony leading.

Farm café
The café serves cookies, ice cream, soft serve, waffles, pizza, cold drinks and barista coffee.

Farm shop
The dairy and bakery have a self-service shop open every day from 10:00 to 20:00. Pick-your-own vegetables are also available in season.

Admission to the farm animal area NOK 50
Guided tour with pony leading NOK 120. Adult accompanying children NOK 60.
The guided tour also includes access to the garden during opening hours.
