KJÆRSTEBRUSEN! (fritt etter Elskovsdrikken)
The trickster Dulcamara arrives in the small village – far out in the forest on Midtåsen – and tricks the peasant boy Nemorino into rolling around with a fantastic magic potion. The horse-loving and literate Adina eventually lets herself be convinced of what is best for both her and the villagers. But – it is with the help of the audience’s magic song that everything is resolved! Free after Donizetti’s opera The Love Potion and his wonderfully catchy and cheerful music!
The performances are played outdoors on Midtåsen

Where did all those wonderful melodies come from – and how did they become some of the most beautiful songs ever written? This will be explored on a journey around the world through the music of the legendary musical composers Rodgers & Hammerstein.
The journey begins in the Alps of Austria, follows the melodies all the way to Siam in the Far East, and continues to the other side of the globe – the Wild West of America. Get inspired to sing along!
