Opus One Big Band

The legendary group of American entertainers – Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Peter Lawford and Joey Bishop – defined the Las Vegas entertainment scene of the 1950s and 1960s.

Opus One Big Band performs with vocalists Cecilie Bjørklund, Therese Kjeldås and Knut Eide.

Dinner is available after the concert for those who wish to stay.

The menu features an American-style hamburger with roasted potato wedges. Dessert includes Furu Egg's homemade caramel pudding and an ice cream buffet from Diplom Is. Coffee is included. Fully licensed.

The programme features traditional and well-loved songs in new arrangements, accompanied by stories inspired by Norway's cultural heritage.

The audience is invited to sing along and experience both familiar favourites and hidden gems. With her extensive background in theatre and stage productions, Herborg Kråkevik delivers an entertaining evening of music and storytelling.

Liv Glaser and Thormod Rønning Kvam

On Saturday 17 October, Furu Egg welcomes one of Norway's most celebrated pianists, Liv Glaser, together with pianist Thormod Rønning Kvam.

The programme features music by Gabriel Fauré from Glaser's latest solo recording, works by Edvard Grieg, and Grieg's Ballade in G Minor, which celebrates its 150th anniversary in 2026. Kvam will perform his interpretation of this major work, and the concert also includes piano duets.
