Performances: June 27 & 28 and July 4 & 5 at 8:00 PM
What happens when two people stand alone in a quarry, surrounded by nature, silence, and some of the most iconic scenes ever written? In WE TWO (VI TO), Bygdeteateret invites the audience on a one-hour journey through the many faces of love, as portrayed by some of the world’s greatest playwrights.
Drawing on excerpts from Peer Gynt, A Doll’s House, Hedda Gabler, Hamlet, and Romeo and Juliet, the texts are woven together into a simple yet powerful performance about what we all long for, fight for, and sometimes lose: love.
The performance takes place in the dramatic setting of Brøtsøbruddet, an open-air quarry on Tjøme. Here, the raw beauty of nature meets the intensity of theatre, brought to life by actors Sofie Asplin and Mikkel Moripen Møystad, who carry the entire production.
