On Wednesday 14 October 2026, Slottsfjellsmuseet in Tønsberg invites visitors to Natt på museet (Night at the Museum). From 6 pm to 8 pm, children and adults can explore the museum in a different way, with theatre, history and just the right amount of spooky fun.
When the museum comes to life
For the third consecutive year, Slottsfjellsmuseet is collaborating with drama students from Greveskogen Upper Secondary School.
Through theatrical performances and creative staging, the students transform the museum's rooms into an unusual and slightly eerie setting.
Visitors are invited to explore the exhibitions as stories unfold around them. Who knows what might be lurking in the corners after dark?
An evening for children and adults
Night at the Museum is suitable for children over the age of five and adults looking for an entertaining way to discover history.
Visitors enter in groups starting at 6 pm, and the event ends at 8 pm.
