Sail into the Færder Archipelago!
Enjoy an unforgettable sailing experience aboard the beautiful historic sailing vessel Berntine. The excursion departs from Jensesundet on Vestre Bolæren Island in the heart of the Færder archipelago.
To reach the departure point, take the passenger ferry from Husvik at 10:30 AM. Return ferries from Jensesund depart at 4:10 PM and 6:10 PM.
A unique opportunity to experience the stunning coastal scenery of the Oslofjord under sail.
Boarding begins at 11:30 AM. From Jensesund, we set course for the fjord before hoisting the sails. During the voyage, you'll have the opportunity to learn about traditional sailing aboard the historic Galeas Berntine. Experienced crew members will guide participants through sail handling, including hoisting, trimming, and packing the sails.
The trip lasts approximately four hours, depending on weather and wind conditions, before returning to Jensesund. Here you'll find a harbour inn, café, and accommodation options at Jensesund Havnekro (tel. +47 482 84 456).
Hot dogs with accompaniments are served on board, and the vessel is fully licensed to serve alcoholic beverages.
