The restaurant is located in the main building at Hotell Karljohansvern, Sjømilitære Samfund, and serves lunch and dinner in historic surroundings. The kitchen prepares most dishes from scratch and uses local ingredients whenever possible, with an à la carte menu that changes with the seasons.
The dining room has been restored to its original 1883 style and is used for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The hotel also welcomes both small and large groups.
Groups and the hotel brewery
The hotel has several function rooms, including Kongesalen and Biblioteket. The hotel’s own brewery is located in the basement, and house beers are served in the restaurant.
