Badstua i Melsomvik

On the pier in Melsomvik, you can enjoy the warmth of a wood-fired sauna with room for four adults. Light the stove yourself, unwind at your own pace and take in the views of the fjord. When you're ready to cool off, the sea is just a few steps away. The sauna is open all year round, whether you want to try winter swimming or enjoy a relaxing time by the water with friends.

Built by the local community
The sauna opened in February 2022 and was made possible through volunteer work and financial contributions from Melsomvik og omegn vel, local residents and other supporters. Guests are responsible for heating the sauna, using it with care and leaving it clean and tidy.
