Villa Veierland is located in the middle of Veierland island with a large backyard where everyone is welcome. At Villa Veierland the day starts in the kitchen, producing fresh goods for the day. The hosts are proud to offer a wide homemade, and Norwegian-inspired selection of products with both cakes and sandwiches.
Villa Veierland also offers Italian homemade pizza – which has become very popular! They also prepare both soups and buffets for normal opening hours, as well as various food for companies, associations, birthdays, weddings and confirmations.
Villa Veierland also rents out the premises both with and without catering.
They started selling beer in April.
You will also find a 24-hour country store with tilting shelves with various dry goods, refrigerated goods and frozen goods.
Various beer tastings, whiskey tastings, quizzes and stand-up and concerts are organized at Villa Veierland.

The eatery is well known for its good homemade food. Dinner, lunch and light meals are served here, as well as coffee and sweets in cozy surroundings. Gamle Eidsfos Kro is open all year round. In the summer you can sit outside in the pleasant garden.
Owner Beate Bettum is a chef with experience from French cuisine. She is interested in real goods, and that's what you get at Gamle Eidsfos Kro. In intimate and cozy rooms with timber walls, good meatballs and fantastic French macaroons are served, but there are also international dishes and pizza on the menu.
The venerable buildings from the 18th century, which were previously apartments for the ironworks' workers, have been painstakingly restored through the Old Eidsfos Foundation and the owner Beate and her family. Today you can enjoy good old-fashioned food and drink in several cozy living rooms with a view to the garden or Eisfosselva and Lake Eikeren.
The inn has several events and theme evenings throughout the year, which are announced on the Facebook page.

Kompasset Café and restaurant has its own children's menu, shellfish buffet and more in the summer season, and simpler dinner dishes outside the main season.

There are no cars on Veierland and you will find a lovely hiking area. Here both adults and children can easily cycle, and you will find nice free areas and beaches.
Dagros kafé is open during the season April / May to September, and also every day during school holidays and otherwise weekends.
At Dagros café, you will get good food and drinks in beautiful and quiet surroundings.
The café organizes concerts, children's day and other activities during the summer, and can also organize private parties.
Transport to Veierland
Jutøya is the main ferry route between Veierland and Tenvik in Færder municipality; but there are also daily departures from Engø in Sandefjord municipality. Both ferry trips take 10-15 minutes.
Alternative is taxiboat.

You’ll find the coffee shop in a backyard, protected against rain and wind, warmed by the sun and to the sound of bird song. At lunch times it's a good idea to get there early: the backyard gets full quickly. If there is no room for you in the backyard, don't worry, just walk out the door and take a right.
