Wilhelmsen House

Wilhelmsen House consists of en-suite apartment rooms, a café and treatment rooms within health and wellbeing. The building also has a lobby with a fire place, a gym, and a common room. All rooms are equipped with bed linens, towels, a TV and free Wi-Fi.

Wilhelmsen House has 49 rooms over 3 floors, no reception and has automated check-in and check-out. You will receive the keycode to your room by SMS and e-mail on the day of your arrival.

Wilhelmsen House is located in central Tønsberg – only five minute walk from the train- and bus station, and a ten minute walk from the harbour. Parking facilities located right next to the building (fees not included).

Grand Hotel Åsgårdstrand

Grand Hotel Åsgårdstrand is situated only a one hour drive from Oslo and 30 minutes from Sandefjord Airport Torp. There are bus connections to Tønsberg from Oslo and from Tønsberg to Åsgårdstrand. The hotel has 78 large og newly refurbished rooms.

Åsgårdstrand is regarded as being an "artist's town" and a gem in eastern Norway. Edvard Munch's "The girls on the bridge" was painted just near the hotel.

Food and drink at the hotel
The restaurant is proud of its good cuisine, and offers a wide range of wines and is fully licensed. As a guest in the restaurant, you can enjoy panoramic views of Åsgårdstrand and the Oslo Fjord. During the summer months our outdoor terrace is open, where you also can enjoy a drink or a good meal.

In 2018 the new summer restaurant Grand Brygge opened at the pier.

Attractions and other things to do at the hotel
With the idyllic location of hotel, we recommend a stroll in Åsgårdstrand with the fjord as the backdrop. There are 150 meters to the nearest beach, and also walking distance to Edvard Munch's house. Nearby you will also find Lefdals Riding Centre and Midgard Viking Centre.

Thon Hotel Tønsberg Brygge

Thon Hotel Tønsberg Brygge was completely renovated in 2017 and is today a modern and welcoming hotel. The hotel offers accommodation and a breakfast buffet. The district offers many cultural events, museums and shopping.

The hotel bar is the hotel’s natural gathering point, to meet for a drink – or just to relax with a newspaper.

Activities and other things to do at the hotel
Tønsberg is one of the best places to be in Norway in the summer. Thon Hotel Tønsberg Brygge is located on the Brygga waterfront in Tønsberg town centre, and it is close to shops, beaches and Slottsfjellet. The hotel is also well placed in relation to nightlife, bars and restaurants in Tønsberg town centre.

Sandefjord Guest harbour

Sandefjord Guest Harbour has about 60 places with depths from 2.5 m to 4 m power and water. The boats moored with bow or stern to the quay.

The harbour is very well protected from the weather from all sides. Close to downtown, 20 minutes to Sandefjord Airport Torp and ferry several times daily to Strømstad.

Ula Camping

Ula Camping is regulated for tents and is a car-free and family-friendly area in beautiful surroundings. Nice sandy beaches, and rocky mountains.

Internet check-in
There is no booking for tents and you are free to choose your own place in the area marked for camping. Tents and hammocks can not be set up in the beach zone. The fire regulations require 4 meters between the tents. There are 90 tent sites plus an area reserved for hammocks. The whole area is car-free and it is important to follow the check-in instructions on the websites. Check-in on the website on arrival with a tent number available at the reception.

Arrival and parking
On arrival, park your car temporarily at the parking at Ula Port (by payment). Follow the walkway 300 meters to the beach and reception. You may use the trolleys for your luggage. There are free parking spaces located in the forest near the campsite, these are marked on the map which you may find on the website.

Facilities
There is new facilities. Showers, washbasins, family rooms and basice kitchen facilities. There are grill areas y the reception. The garbage container is next to the toilet facility.

Ula camping has a kiosk, open every day during the school holidays. In the kiosk you will also find the famous waffles.

There are possibilities for a washing machine in a service building in Ula harbor that belongs to Ula Vel. There is also a small shop in Ula that is open during the school holidays. It 6 km to nearest COOP or Joker.

In the area around Ula there are many nice trails and small roads. A good starting point for hiking, biking, fishing, kayaking, diving, bouldering and much more.

Ula Camping has spaces for tents only.
