Color Line Hirtshals – Larvik

Travel between Denmark and Norway from Hirtshals to Larvik with Color Line.

The ferry uses only 3 hours and 45 minutes from Hirtshals to Larvik.

Bare Beppe Café and Bakery

Serving of healthy lunch dishes and  cakes from their own handcraft bakery.

When the weather allows, you can sit outdoors towards the beautiful park.

Bare Beppe also do catering and accepts orders for both food and cakes.

Eidene

Eidene has 550 acres of land in scenic surroundings, with the forest, the beach, rocky mountains and docks nearby.

In addition to good food and good facilities, Eidene can offer activities that everyone can participate in. You get to decide – the combination of having fun together and moving boundaries makes for memorable experiences.

After the activities you can, for example, end it all in Eidenes Viking house in the forest. You can have dinner around the fireplace. The perfect atmosphere for good conversation, good food and drinks.

You can also enjoy dinner on the beach during the summer season. Either way, Eidene will make sure you have a memorable day!

Eidene has a wide range of activities that can be customized and organized for any group. They use the forest for many of their activities; collaborative exercises such as the quiz trail, the Bermuda Triangle, the Balance Sheet and the obstacle course, competitive activities such as air rifle, ax throw and super sprayed. The Eidene also has activities on the beach and canoes, rowing boats or boat trips if the weather allows it.

You can also take part in the Witch Jump – a rope path 12 meters above the ground, or hike on the many trails in the forest, canyons and at rocky mountains. This, and much more you can experience at Eidene!

Get in touch and Eidene will make you a program with the appropriate combinations whether you want excitement and challenges, or team building. All activities are adapted to each group and size.

The Red Cross Centers, Eidene is owned by the Norwegian Red Cross, and has an important social responsibility. You contribute to the humanitary work when you book your visit to Eidene.

Rørestrand beach

Rørestrand is a perfect beach to be at once the sun shines.The beach has a large nice grass area, beach volleyball court, beach bar, municipal toilets and garbage dunks. The coastal path in Horten goes straight past the beach so it's nice to combine a trip there with a dip in the sea. Bathing on Rørestrand can also easily be combined with a shopping trip in Horten city center, which is only 2 km away.

Rørestrand camping is right behind the beach.

Accessible by car through Borreveien Fv 715, at Granly School where it is signposted to "Rørestrand".

Horten swimming pool

The temperature in the pool is 28.5 degrees. Here are good opportunities for both exercise and play.

Horten swimming pool has a pay-per-view terminal.

The bath time is one hour. Ticket sales end one hour before closing time every day.
Children only have access to the swimming pool until 19:00 Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Non-swimmers must be accompanied by adults.

Horten Swimming Pool is closed all public holidays.

Vestfold Kunstsenter

Vestfold Art Center with various exhibitions within contemporary visual arts and handicrafts. The art center has between 6 and 10 different exhibitions during the year. You can see among other things, ceramic art, textile art, video art, performance art, drawing and installation depending on which artist or artists are shown. 

During the normal opening hours, there will always be an employee present who can provide additional information about the art. 

 

The Viking Ship Saga Oseberg

Viking Group activities 10 – 300 people

As a crew on board the Viking ship, Saga Oseberg, you can learn more about the Viking era. Meet the "Høvedsmann" (skipper) on the pier. After a small rowing-course, you will learn the words, expressions and rules on board. Then the group are ready for rowing the Tønsberg harbor and historic areas to Vestfjorden. Hear the exciting story of the Viking era, the Oseberg find, the Oseberg ship and the Oseberg women, and the construction of Saga Oseberg. Maybe there will be a rowing contest?

For large groups Saga Oseberg can be combined with smaller Viking boats and activities at Vikingodden.

Storås ski facilities

The ski facilities are open for everyone.

It is possible to reach by Stokke Ravei with parking, or take the 01 Bus and stop at Granerødveien.

Path with streetlights 4,2 km.

The Storås round is perfect for families, the path is 7 km and is recommended for everyone! A nice and calm trip with some hills up and down.

The Fokserød round is the long family trip, it goes though Vestergården and towards Fokserød. A nice trip with some steep hills.

The facilities are developed and driven by volunteers of Stokke ILs ski-group.

3 Lykter Nightclub

The nightclub 3 lykter is a club connected to Scandic Park Hotel Sandefjord.

During the weekend you can dance to the music and enjoy a drink from the bar.

 

The nightclub is closed during the summer.
