Farris Bad

Farris Bad Hotel offers 176 beautifully decorated rooms, including the spacious and elegant Fritzøe Suite – perfect for grand occasions.

Rooms
All rooms at Farris Bad are exclusively designed, where form and colour interplay with the nature outside the windows. Interiors reflect local natural resources – beech wood, larvikite and spring water. A discreet and elegant variation in room design and decor underlines Farris Bad’s basic philosophy to offer its guests a unique experience.
You may choose from five different room types, depending on your own personal needs and desires.

Spa
Farris Bad has the largest and most comprehensive spa department in Scandinavia, and is the only hotel that has established the spa on a natural mineral-rich spring.
Each day, fresh spring water bubbles up from our subterranean grotto 55 meters under the ground. Steeped in nutrients. Health-bringing. The water takes 20 years to percolate through the natural moraine filters below the beech forest before it reaches Farris Bad.
The spa department focuses on physical exercise, mental training, balanced diets and treatments. It's a place where you can find outer and inner calm. Professional advice and dedicated therapists will ensure you are taken good care of during treatment.

Conference
The largest conference room – Kildesalen – can seat 400 people in conference configuration, or 288 dining guests.

Wilhelmsen House

Wilhelmsen House consists of en-suite apartment rooms, a café and treatment rooms within health and wellbeing. The building also has a lobby with a fire place, a gym, and a common room. All rooms are equipped with bed linens, towels, a TV and free Wi-Fi.

Wilhelmsen House has 49 rooms over 3 floors, no reception and has automated check-in and check-out. You will receive the keycode to your room by SMS and e-mail on the day of your arrival.

Wilhelmsen House is located in central Tønsberg – only five minute walk from the train- and bus station, and a ten minute walk from the harbour. Parking facilities located right next to the building (fees not included).

Price for a day along the restaurant pier
Kr 80,- for a maximum of 3 hours between 09:00-20:00.
After 20:00 the same daily rates apply as in the guest harbour.

Payment can be made at the machines in the area.

Winter rental from 1 November – 31 March
Long-term winter rental is possible from 1 November. Water is turned off, but electricity is available for long-term rentals.

All boats moored at the municipal quay must have a written agreement with Tønsberg municipality and must be insured for the entire agreement period.

Year-round rental
It is possible to enter into an agreement for a year-round rental (12 months) in Tønsberg guest harbour.

THE CHANNEL BRIDGES
Tønsberg has two bridges over the canal to Nøtterøy. Both are drawbridges with limited sailing height.

Kaldnes Bro is the name of the pedestrian and bicycle bridge over the canal in the center of Tønsberg. The bridge's total length is 130 meters and has a sailing width of 47 meters. Sailing height at normal water level is approximately 5 metres. For boats and ships that project higher, Kaldnes bro is opened from the Kanalbroen (driveway bridge).

Kanalbroen is the road bridge between Tønsberg and Nøtterøy. This is a highly trafficked bridge and the only driving connection between the mainland and Nøtterøy. Sailing height at normal water level is approximately 3 metres.

Opening hours for the bridges Kanalbroen and Kaldnes during the Summer season are as follows:
The opening applies to Kanalbroen (car bridge) and Kaldnes Bro (pedestrian bridge). The footbridge opens five minutes before and/after the car bridge.

Bridge opening must be booked at least one hour before the actual bridge opening.

Important:
– Pull together towards the bridge, to the right/starboard, when opening time approaches and listen to VHF channel 12
– In the event of heavy traffic or emergency vehicles on their way to the bridge, opening may be delayed
– Keep out of the way for commercial vessels

Furustrand Camping

Furustrand has a private beach next to Ringshaug beach. The beach is shallow and great for kids. Furustrand camping is located along the "coastal path" that stretches for miles along the Oslofjord. Nøtterøy, Tjøme, Åsgårdstrand and Horten is only a short car ride away.

Furustrand camping is located with a walking distance to restaurant, bowling, pool table and a gym.

Motorhomes, caravan and tent
Beautiful spaces for motorhomes and caravans with views of Ringshaug beach and Oslofjord. Some +spaces with a paved patio and our own water tap.

Restaurant Sjøsiden Ringshaug
The restaurant has a varied menu as well as homemade Italian pizza. All rights. Covered outdoor seating with great views of the beach.

Sanitary and laundry
New sanitary building. You can wash and dry clothes in the laundry room. Separate family room. Toilet and shower.

Hotel Wassilioff

Accommodation with historical surroundings. The hotel has 62 charming rooms with 88 beds. Open all year round. The rooms are bright and spacious with a classic design. All the rooms at Wassilioff have either a bathtub or a shower, TV and free WiFi. Some rooms have a beautiful view of the harbour.

À la Carte-restaurant
The restaurant at Hotel Wassilioff, Restaurant Excellensen, offers a la carte dishes with focus on seafood. You can relax and take a drink at the piano bar in the lobby. The nightclub is open during the weekends for a good time.

Havna Hotel & Sjøbad

Jahren Farm

Location
Between Stavern and Helgeroa, approximately 2 km from Stavern and approximately 10 km from Larvik. To Torp Airport and the ferry terminal in Sandefjord there is approximately 30 km.

Rooms and Outdoor Area
Rooms for 2-6 persons with shower/WC. All rooms have got a self-catering kitchen with all necessary equipment included. Two of the apartments are wheelchair accessible. Large outdoor area.

Approximately 12 minutes walk to the coastal path, and excellent possibilities for bathing and swimming nearby

Bakkane Gård

Newly renovated apartments, in cosy atmosphere just a few minutes off the E18, a short distance from Stavern, Larvik, Helgeroa and Nevlunghavn. Open all year!

The Area
Torp Airport, the Superspeed-ferry to Hirtshals and the four-lane highway ensure good connections for those travelling from far away. The ferry to Langesund is popular with the cycling tourists. Just a few minutes away you will find Omlidstranda, which is one of the areas most beautiful beaches. Larvik Golf Club, one of the country’s best golf courses, is located just around the corner.

Activities
Bakkane Gård is a place where your children can play freely in a safe environment. The farm has a large outdoor area with lots of activities. Here you will find a large jumping pillow, outdoors chess, a football field and much more.

The Apartments

Grand Hotel Åsgårdstrand is situated only a one hour drive from Oslo and 30 minutes from Sandefjord Airport Torp. There are bus connections to Tønsberg from Oslo and from Tønsberg to Åsgårdstrand. The hotel has 78 large og newly refurbished rooms.

Åsgårdstrand is regarded as being an "artist's town" and a gem in eastern Norway. Edvard Munch's "The girls on the bridge" was painted just near the hotel.

Food and drink at the hotel
The restaurant is proud of its good cuisine, and offers a wide range of wines and is fully licensed. As a guest in the restaurant, you can enjoy panoramic views of Åsgårdstrand and the Oslo Fjord. During the summer months our outdoor terrace is open, where you also can enjoy a drink or a good meal.

In 2018 the new summer restaurant Grand Brygge opened at the pier.

Attractions and other things to do at the hotel
With the idyllic location of hotel, we recommend a stroll in Åsgårdstrand with the fjord as the backdrop. There are 150 meters to the nearest beach, and also walking distance to Edvard Munch's house. Nearby you will also find Lefdals Riding Centre and Midgard Viking Centre.
