Nearly 50 professional visual artists and artisans with connections to Vestfold County are presented. The artists participate with one work each and compete for five scholarships of NOK 40,000. The awarding of the scholarships will be announced at the opening!

The Aluminum Museum in Holmestrand welcome an exhibition as modern and forward-looking as the aluminum industry is. The Aluminum Museum, which is a department of the Vestfold Museums, opened in 2002 and is the only one in Norway to have told the rich Norwegian tradition of further processing aluminum. The museum also communicates the industry's value chain and product development from the very beginning to today's high-tech business.
In an exciting exhibition architectural environment with parallels to innovation and development, the metal's properties and Holmestrand's history are communicated in a national and global perspective.
With the help of modern dissemination methods, digital solutions and updated design, the audience, regardless of age and gender, ethnic background and knowledge, is welcomed by the Aluminum Museum.
