Oslo Gospel Choir

For more than 30 years, Oslo Gospel Choir has performed concerts in Norway and abroad. Over the years, the choir has become closely associated with Christmas music, and its Christmas concerts have become a tradition for many during the festive season.

In 1992, the choir released the Christmas album Tusen Julelys, and conductor Tore W. Aas wrote the Christmas song “En stjerne skinner i natt”.

Oslo Gospel Choir has performed more than 1,000 concerts and sold more than 2 million albums.

The Christmas concert “En stjerne skinner i natt” puts Christmas music and choral singing at the centre, featuring repertoire from the choir’s many years of Christmas performances.

Christmas With Us – Chris Medina & Eirik Næss

“Jul Hos Oss” celebrates ten years of Christmas concerts. For the first time since 2016, Chris Medina, Eirik Næss and Lars Støvland reunite in the original trio format.

For ten years, the three artists have shared the stage during the Christmas season with “Jul Hos Oss”. The anniversary is marked with a concert combining Norwegian and American Christmas traditions.

The audience can expect familiar Christmas songs alongside new additions, with a repertoire that builds on previous editions of the Christmas concert.

Larvik Jazzklubb: Romjulsjam 2026

Romjulsjammen is an evening of live music featuring local musicians on stage at Larvik Jazzklubb.

A skilled backing band provides the musical foundation, joined by guest musicians who help get the jam session started. Throughout the evening, local musicians, both familiar and new faces, take to the stage.

The programme features vocalists, horn players and guitar solos, with music ranging from jazz and pop to soul. There will also be some Christmas music.

Vitenshitshow med Dennis Siva og Stian Sandøs

Dennis Siva and Stian Sandø, known from NRK’s Newton, bring their science based stage show to the audience, combining experiments, humour and learning.

The show brings elements from their television programmes to the stage, including experiments with flames and explosions, combined with science communication and humour.

Dennis Siva Lie is a presenter and science communicator with a background in biology from the University of Oslo. He has presented programmes for NRK since 2019, including Newton, Superkroppen and Ikke gjør dette mot klimaet. He has received both an International Emmy Award and the Gullruten television award.

Stian Sandø is a television presenter, TV personality and entrepreneur. He has studied computer science and electrical engineering at NTNU and is known from NRK programmes including Newton, Sommeråpent and Unormal.

The show is suitable for children aged 5 and above.

Creedence StoryNight

In 2026, Fortunate Sons relaunch Creedence StoryNight in a new and updated version. The original show was first presented ten years ago and performed to full houses at venues across Norway.

The audience can enjoy well known songs by Creedence Clearwater Revival, including Proud Mary, Bad Moon Rising, Have You Ever Seen the Rain, Down on the Corner and Up Around the Bend. The songs are performed in chronological order, accompanied by stories about the band, the music and the era in which the songs were created.

The repertoire also includes selected songs from John Fogerty's solo career. The show combines live music and storytelling, offering an insight into the music, the band and the period in which Creedence Clearwater Revival became one of the defining bands of its era.
