Larvik Mikrobryggeri
The brewery has a wide range of offerings. Here, craft beer is combined with social experiences—whether it’s concerts, quizzes, private events, or a relaxed evening with shuffleboard and darts.
The brewery was established in 2011 by beer enthusiasts, with as many as 134 shareholders in the start-up phase. In 2019, production was moved to new facilities in Skien, where modern brewing equipment increased capacity from 400 to 1,000 litres per day. Today, more than 30,000 litres of beer are produced annually, with ambitions for further growth.
With 12 taps serving its own beer, Larvik Microbrewery offers locally brewed flavours. The venue is a popular gathering place for both locals and visitors, providing an authentic taste of city life and local beer culture in Larvik.
The atmosphere is informal and welcoming, with a steady flow of events and activities throughout the year.

Kvelde Mølle
Kvelde Mølle
In the fertile Lågendalen valley, you’ll find Kvelde Mølle – one of the few remaining rural mills in Norway, with roots dating all the way back to the 1300s. Here, grain has been milled into flour for generations, and the traditions live on to this day.
At Kvelde Mølle, everything is about true craftsmanship. High-quality flour is produced from grain grown by local farmers in Lågendalen and surrounding areas – one of Norway’s best regions for grain production. Stone milling gives the flour a richer flavor, excellent baking properties, and a natural character. This is pure, unblended flour with no additives – honest products with a short journey from field to finished flour.
Kvelde Mølle was among the first in Norway to offer flour labeled “Nyt Norge” (“Enjoy Norway”), and today produces more than 35 different products – from finely milled wheat flour to coarse rye, spelt, and ancient grains.
Møllebutikken – The Mill Shop
Flour from Kvelde Mølle is available at the on-site mill shop in Kvelde, as well as in selected grocery stores and specialty shops in the region. In the mill shop, you’ll also find a selection of local food products.
A visit to Kvelde Mølle offers more than just quality ingredients – it’s an experience of tradition, local food culture, and true craftsmanship. Here, you can discover how an important part of Norway’s food heritage is still alive – right in the heart of Vestfold.
The mill shop’s opening hours may vary throughout the year. Please visit kveldemolle.no or the Facebook page Møllebutikken i Kvelde for updated information.
