KORK with Christian Tetzlaff and Holly Choe

Christian Tetzlaff is the soloist when the Norwegian Radio Orchestra, KORK, performs Felix Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto. Holly Choe is chief conductor.

Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto is a central work in the violin repertoire and takes the spotlight in the first part of the concert. Tetzlaff has previously performed with KORK and returns as soloist for this programme.

The programme also features Symphony No. 2 by Swedish composer and organist Elfrida Andrée. A significant figure in Swedish musical life in the 19th century, Andrée’s symphonic music forms the second part of the concert.

Sparebanken Norge SF Kvinner Camp for jenter 8-10. oktober 2026

SF Kvinner invites girls to three days of football training at Jotun Arena from 8 to 10 October. The camp is organised in cooperation with Sparebanken Norge and NFF Vestfold as part of the Norwegian Football Federation's «Jenter i skuddet» project.

The camp is open to girls born from 2013 to 2020, regardless of club affiliation or level of experience. The main requirement is that participants are motivated and want to learn.

SF Kvinner's first team staff, players from the first team and youth team will take part as instructors. There will also be a dedicated goalkeeper group in cooperation with HO Soccer Norge, with separate goalkeeper coaches and instructors.

The days combine football training and games, with lunch and fruit included. All participants receive an SF Kvinner training sweatshirt and a football. Goalkeepers also receive goalkeeper gloves from HO Soccer.

11:30 to 12:15: Lunch

12:15 to 13:00: Training

13:15 to 14:00: Games

The camp ends at 14:00, when participants can be picked up.

Lansering av ARKIVERT 2026

Vestfold Archives launches the 2026 edition of its journal ARKIVERT, focusing on folk music, folk dance and other forms of traditional culture from Vestfold.

The launch takes place in collaboration with Tunsberg leikarring at Sverretun in Ramnes. The evening includes a presentation of this year's journal, talks about local and regional traditional culture, and an introduction to Lyden av Vestfold, a digital resource for folk music and traditional culture from the region.

Kathrine Kleveland will speak about the importance of local and regional traditional culture. After the presentations, there will be coffee before Tunsberg leikarring invites guests to join a traditional folk dance.

The event is free of charge.

Det har skjedd verre ting i utlandet

With her latest book, Det har skjedd verre ting i utlandet, Marte Michelet explores her own upbringing, family history and identity. The book grew out of her relationship with her father, the writer Jon Michelet.

Combining family history and social history, Michelet explores themes such as the desire for freedom, political idealism, grief and the relationship between parents and children. She also reflects on how memories and the stories we tell about ourselves can shape our identity.

For this event, Michelet meets writer, biographer and editor Alf van der Hagen for a conversation about the book and her writing process. They will discuss memories, family, identity and how literature can be used to examine our own lives.

Alf van der Hagen has worked with literary conversations and interview based biographies for several decades. He has written books about authors including Dag Solstad, Kjell Askildsen, Suzanne Brøgger and Ingvar Ambjørnsen. In 2026, he received the Vestfold Literature Prize for his work highlighting Vestfold authors Ingvar Ambjørnsen and Dag Solstad.

Marte Michelet is a journalist and author. She received the Brage Prize for Den største forbrytelsen in 2014 and the Norwegian Booksellers’ Non Fiction Prize for Hva visste hjemmefronten? in 2018. The latter also sparked an extensive debate among historians.
