Guerilla Girls – TAKEOVER
4th of October – 30th of November
Guerrilla Girls is a legendary anonymous group of feminist, female artists who fight against discrimination, sexism and racism in the art world. The group was formed in New York City in 1985 and uses both humor and facts to shine light on inequality, gender discrimination, and racism. Their work extends beyond the art world to include film, politics, and popular culture.
Haugar Art Museum is proud to present a takeover featuring both protest posters from 1980-> and films by the group.
