Mostranda Camping

Mostranda Camping is located on Tjøme, with its own beach and excellent hiking opportunities near Moutmarka and Færder National Park. The campsite is open for the season from 1 May to 15 September.

The campsite offers apartments as well as pitches for motorhomes, caravans and tents. There is space for around 60 caravans, most of which are used by seasonal guests. The camping and tent pitches have access to electricity and water, and facilities include showers, toilets and laundry facilities.

Apartments
Mostranda Camping offers apartments with one, two or three bedrooms. The apartments have modern interiors and facilities and can be booked via Finn.no or directly through the campsite. The one-bedroom apartment has a double bed in the bedroom and a double sofa bed in the living room. It has a bathroom with shower and a small balcony overlooking the sea. The apartment is best suited for couples but can accommodate up to four people. Guests must bring their own bed linen and towels.

The three-bedroom apartment has one bedroom with a double bed, two bedrooms with single beds and a sofa bed in the living room. It also has a kitchenette and a bathroom with shower. Guests must bring their own bed linen and towels. A washing machine and tumble dryer are available in a shared area for both apartment types.

Beach and activities
At Mostranda, you can spend the day on the sandy beach or explore the surrounding area on foot. Nearby attractions include Moutmarka, Verdens Ende, Torås Fort and Tjøme Golf Club. The campsite also has a marina with boat rental available.

Reception and kiosk
At the reception area, you can buy soft drinks, ice cream, chocolate, snacks and hot drinks.

During the high season, contacting the campsite by phone is recommended, as emails may be checked less frequently.

Eidsfoss Hovedgård & Gjestgiveri

At Eidsfos Hovedgård, you stay surrounded by cultural heritage, beautiful nature and peaceful surroundings – perfect for a relaxing getaway in Vestfold. The former office villa of Eidsfos Ironworks has been transformed into a charming guesthouse with 8 rooms, including 3 suites/family rooms, 3 double rooms and 1 single room.
The villa, once home to the ironworks administration, now serves as a cosy boutique-style hotel located along the tree-lined avenue leading up to the manor house. Guests can also stay in Gardener Andersen’s Apartment in the historic Cavalier Wing.

Apartments for rent June-August

Three modern holiday apartments available for rent during summer season.

Garnisonsykehuset (The Garrison Hospital in Stavern) is part of the naval base Fredriksvern, and an exciting part of Norwegian hospital and defense history, one of the country's oldest preserved hospitals. The apartments have recently been renovated by Fortidsminneforeningen

The apartments are rented for a minimum of two days. Prices start from NOK 1500 per day.

Apartment "Blokkhus": 2 bedrooms plus living room, kitchen, and bathroom (Sofa bed in the living room. Can accommodate up to 6 people).

Studios: "Fjerdingen" and "Telegrafen": A room with a bed, dining area, wardrobe, kitchen, and bathroom.

The apartment has a well-equipped kitchen and free Wi-Fi. There are 6 different apartments in different size, from 1 room for 2 persons to an apartment with private terrace for up to 5 persons. 

All apartments at Tollgaarden also have a seating area, flat-screen TB, private entrance and a bathroom with shower.

Larvik Railway station and Larvik city center are located 200 meters away.

Helgeroafergene – Helgeroa ferry – takes you from Langesund to Langøya, Siktesøya, Lille Arøya and Store Arøya to Helgeroa. Helgeroafergene has daily departures throughout the summer.

The lighthouse:
The Lighthouse towards the Oslofjord is inspired by Denmark's largest tourist attraction, Rudbjerg knude at Jylland. The lighthouse is about 70 m2 for up to 6 people on 2 floors in addition to the actual lantern at the top. 3 bedrooms with double beds. Vendelhytte:
4 cabins in a nice architectural design of 70 m2 for up to 6 people. The cabins are located in the 1st row to the sea. 3 bedrooms with double beds. Living room and well equipped kitchen with dishwasher and freezer. Bath with shower. 2 WC. TV and internet. Good standard. Patio with own barbecue and picnic bench. Parking right outside the cottage. One of the Vendel cabins is HC friendly with one large bathroom.

Sigurd Ring Borg
16 distinctive, 52-square-meter log cabins for up to 4 people. 2 bedrooms with double beds. Living room with well-equipped kitchen. Bathroom with shower. TV and internet. Good standard. Exit to the patio with furniture and easy access to barbecue area.

Tårnleilighet – Tower Apartment
Fantastic 27 m2 apartments for up to 2 people with panoramic views of the Oslofjord. Double bed. Living room with well-equipped kitchen area, seating area and exit to the balcony. Bathroom with shower. TV and internet. Good standard. Ideal for special occasions!
By appointment, key can be borrowed to the rooftop terrace with spectacular views.

Hansa Sjøbod

Skogshytte – Forest Lodge
Traditional cabins of 31 m2 for up to 4 people located among pine trees. Living room with kitchen area equipped for 6 people. 2 bedrooms with bunk beds, bathroom with shower. TV and internet. OK standard.

Villavogn – Villa trailer
Villavognene of 25 m2 for up to 4 persons among pine trees. Living room with large seating area and kitchen area equipped for 6 persons. 2 small bedrooms. Small bathroom with shower and toilet. TV and internet. OK standard. Patio with picnic bench.

Small apartments
Small apartments of 24 m2 for up to 2 people located in the reception building. Living room with kitchen equipped for 4 persons. Simple standard, no shower, only toilet and sink. Suitable for living easily and cheaply.

All beds have pillow and duvet. Bed linen and towels can be brought or rented for NOK 125,- pr. person.
Wash out on departure costs from NOK 500,- to NOK 1250,- depending on cabin category.

Kiosk
Freshly baked goods every day of the season in addition to ice cream, soft drinks and some foods. Some locally produced food.

Restaurant Sjøsiden Ringshaug
The restaurant has a varied menu as well as homemade Italian pizza. All rights. Covered outdoor seating with great views of the beach.

Furustrand has a private beach next to Ringshaug beach. The beach is shallow and great for kids. Furustrand camping is located along the "coastal path" that stretches for miles along the Oslofjord.

Hvasser Motell

Hvasser Motel – location and history

The motel is driven by the Schøning-Olsen family third generation. “Fjeldhøi” was built in 1917 by Henrik Torgersen, where the main business was post and phone service. When Sigvart Schøning-Olsen got the estate in 1933, he changed the business to  the accommodation sector. In 1936 it was a guesthouse, then in 1978 it was changed to a motel and the annex was torn down.

Cabin and communal area
The cabins are spread out on a 8.000 m2 property, with a nice cosy garden with old fruit trees and roses. There is activities such as volleyball and a playground for the children. The beach is 150 m walking distance away, perfect for small children. Grocery store (year round) and different restaurants (open during summer) is 150 m from the motel.

The cabins are 35-40 m2 and all have living room with kitchen, 2 bedrooms with 4-6 beds, bathroom with shower and toilet. The cabins are equipped with kitchen utensils, duvet and pillows (bed covers is for rent), TV, outdoor furniture and barbeque. In the main house there is a communal living room, freezer opportunities and laundry room.

All the cabins have been renovated over the last few years, such as the kitchen and bathroom. Nine cabins are open during the winter as well, and is usually rented over a long period of time.

During the summer the main guest are families that enjoy the summer with sun and beach.

Animals
Dogs are welcome.

Group activities
Hvasser Motel is perfect for groups, family gatherings and associations, where its possible to rent multiple cabins and the communal living room, where the guest can either have dinner party or have seminars. There is a lot of different activities in Hvasser and Tjøme. Such as scuba diving, sailing, kayaking, bow and arrow, hiking, climbing, horse riding and golf.

Blokkebukta Camping

Location
12 km from Larvik. 30 minute drive from Torp airport – 45 minutes from Tønsberg  – 1½ hour from Drammen and ½ from Grenland-area.

Blokkebukta Camping is a family-owned camping with history back to 1920’s when Mathilde Lunde was the owner. She is the grandmother of the current owner Roar Lunde.

Camping
Blokkebukta camping has room for 325 caravans and tents. Overnight stays can be booked via Campall. The campsite is located in a nice area with 2 playgrounds for the children and fishing opportunities. Grocery store is also avaliable. Blokkebukta is a family campsite where it should be quiet from 23.00

Cabins
Blokkebukta has 3 cabins for rental. The cabins were renovated in the spring of 2007. The cabins are equipped with a fridge, stove, cable-TV, radio, dishwasher and a washing machine. They are big and spacious. 

Apartments
The apartments are 65 kvm with 2 bedrooms and 6 beds. The apartments are equipped with a dishwasher, fridge, freezer, coffee maker, washing machine, electricity and water. TV, terrace, outdoor furniture and barbeque. No smoking!
The cabins and apartments are located outside Blokkebukta Camping and can be rented weeks at a time, Saturday to Saturday.

The Area
Blokkebukta is a short walking distance to Helgeroa pier with 2 restaurants, a ferry to Langesund and more. Modern sanitary installments with toilet, shower, laundry room and kitchen. Dumping grounds and a nice harbour for small boats. Beautiful coastline paths to Nevlunghavn.

Directions
Follow 302 from Larvik towards Helgeroa. After about 15 min. turn right towards Helgeroa. Follow the signs to Blokkebukta.

Wilhelmsen House

Wilhelmsen House is an apartment hotel in central Tønsberg, close to Vestfold Hospital and approximately five minutes on foot from the train and bus station. It offers 49 rooms across three floors, with accommodation for both short and extended stays. Facilities include automated check-in, an on-site café, a fitness room and shared lounge areas.

Rooms with refrigerators or kitchen facilities
Wilhelmsen House offers several room categories, ranging from standard double rooms to Superior rooms and suites. Rooms feature private bathrooms with showers, TVs, complimentary Wi-Fi and either a refrigerator or kitchen facilities, depending on the category. Standard double rooms measure approximately 15 m² and have a double bed. Selected rooms include a kitchenette, while others have a refrigerator without equivalent cooking facilities.

Superior rooms are available with a double bed or twin beds. Suites measure approximately 38 m² and accommodate up to four guests. Bed linen, towels and essential bathroom amenities are included. Check the individual room facilities before booking, particularly if you plan to prepare your own meals.

WH Café and breakfast
WH Café is located on the ground floor, serving coffee, baked goods, lunch dishes and other light refreshments. Guests can enjoy their food indoors or in the garden when the weather allows. Breakfast is also available for overnight guests. It is subject to the booking conditions and has not been confirmed as included in every room rate. The café's published opening hours are Monday to Friday from 7 am to 3 pm. Weekend breakfast service for hotel guests is available from 8 am to 11 am.

Fitness, laundry and shared spaces
Overnight guests have access to a fitness room and laundry facilities. The gym is open daily from 6 am to 11 pm. The laundry room has washing machines, a tumble dryer and ironing facilities. Use is included in the stay, but guests must bring their own laundry detergent. Wilhelmsen House also has a fireplace lounge, seating areas and a garden with outdoor furniture. These shared spaces provide places to relax, read or work outside your room.

Short and extended stays
Wilhelmsen House is suitable for both weekend visits and accommodation lasting several weeks or months. The apartment-style accommodation is particularly convenient for business travellers and commuters who want the flexibility to prepare meals and do laundry during their stay. Separate arrangements are available for long-term guests and companies. Room cleaning and bed linen changes depend on the length of the booking.

Explore Tønsberg on foot
Wilhelmsen House is approximately a five-minute walk from Tønsberg railway station. The town centre, shops, restaurants and waterfront are also within walking distance. Explore Slottsfjellet, visit the town's museums or head to the harbour and waterfront restaurants. The central location makes it easy to get around without a car while staying slightly away from the busiest waterfront areas.

Food and drink
WH Café on the ground floor serves coffee, baked goods and light lunches. Breakfast is also available for overnight guests. It is not automatically included in every room rate, so check the conditions of your booking. The café has its own opening hours.

Guests can use the gym and laundry room daily from 6 am to 11 pm. The laundry room has washing machines, tumble dryers and ironing facilities. Bring your own laundry detergent. There is also a fireplace lounge, seating areas and a shared garden. Special arrangements are available for longer stays, including business accommodation.

Self-service check-in and check-out
Check-in is from 3 pm and check-out is by 11 am. Wilhelmsen House has no staffed reception. You receive an access code by SMS and email on your arrival day, allowing you to enter independently. Your stay must be paid for before arrival, according to the booking conditions.
