Horten food & culturefestival 2025

A festival for the whole family where we celebrate the best ingredients, seek out the amazing flavors, and where both children and adults can learn about food. There will be restaurants, food trucks, stalls, courses, competitions, music, entertainment, tastings, activities for children and much much more.

Munch bath!

On Edvard Munch's own birthday on 12 December, Munch's house invites you to take a dip in Åsgårdstrand in his honour!

Meeting at the wharf by the beach in Munch park at 14.00, where those who want to take a bath can join. There will be an opportunity to change in the Sailing Association's premises.

Grand Hotell Åsgårdstrand provides free gingerbread, croissants and mulled wine after the bath!
