The sauna is located at Bjønnesstranda, with a view out to the Viksfjord. Experience the wind and the weather from inside a well-heated sauna. You can take a cold bath just outside the sauna. Open all year round.

The sauna is located at Bjønnesstranda in Tjodalyng, 7,5 km from Larvik town centre. There is electrical heat, ready for use. Changing facilities.
Fritzøe Gård, with a history dated back to 1835, facilitates a varied and rich offer and meaningful experiences for people of all ages.
On the site is Fritzøe Gård Golf Course with a 9- and 18-hole golf course, driving range and golf simulator. You will also find a yoga and wellness center, paddle courts, kindergarden, accommodation options and attractive hiking areas in idyllic surroundings. Since 2015, the Stavernfestivalen has taken place on the farm. In 2019, the festival had over 87,000 spectators over 3 days at Fritzøe Gård Arena and artists such as Sir Elton John, Pharell Williams, Dua Lipa, Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith have performed there.
Zentora is rented out with a skipper for day trips from Helgeroa. Longer trips can be booked on request.
The boat is suitable for small groups of up to 12 passengers. Out on deck there is plenty of room for 12 people.
There is no sale of food or drink on board, so this can be brought with you. If desired, food and drink can be arranged by the skipper.
Each trip is adapted to the customers' wishes or the captain's suggestions.

Skipperstua also arranges if you are organizing a party and want a tailored menu.

On the 2nd floor you will find the Skipperstua's own function room.
French-inspired à la carte and today's 3-course meal based on seasonal ingredients, great variety with fish, meat, poultry and vegetarian dishes. Here, the food is prepared with home-made stock and good sauces made from scratch.
5-course "tasting menu" and "chef's choice" 7-course can be pre-ordered.
The restaurant is open from Tuesday to Saturday. The kitchen closes for last orders at 20:30 on weekdays and at 21:30 Friday and Saturday.

Cows, calves, horses, pigs, sheep and chickens walk in the yard, and in the forest you will find the tussiesti, an activity trail for children. There is also an outdoor bakery that produces fresh bread and buns every weekend and pizza if you are lucky.
Ice cream, coffee and, of course, home-made waffles are sold in the guest booth.
Throughout the summer, various courses and themed days about life at Nordgardsetra are organized for children and adults. Here you can come and take part in activities like milking, separation, cheese making, churning butter and cooking prim. And care for and cuddle with the animals, of course. At weekends there is entertainment of various kinds, music, singing, stories, cooking and other activities.
Nordgardsetra is located in the forest a couple of kilometers past Vindfjelltunet with a road all the way up and with parking 100 meters from the yard.

Nordgardsetra is open during the school's summer holidays, every day from week 26-31.
He undertook three major expeditions: the Kon-Tiki Expedition, the Ra Expeditions and the Tiger Expedition.
The Kon-Tiki Expedition (1947) – Thor Heyerdahl attempted to prove his theory that Polynesia could be populated from South America and not Asia. He pointed to plant life, the winds and ocean currents as good arguments, and believed local oral tradition suggested the same.
The Ra Expeditions (1969 and 1970) – Heyerdahl tried to link the South American Indians with the ancient civilizations of Africa and the Middle East.
The Tigris Expedition (1977) – Heyerdahl wanted to test his theories about contacts across the ocean between prehistoric civilizations. The aim of the journey around the Persian Gulf and the Indian Ocean was to show that Mesopotamia and Egypt could have had trade links across the sea several thousand years ago.
Thor Heyerdahl was appointed honorary citizen of Larvik city in 1971, and for his 75th birthday in 1989, a monument made of Larvikite was erected.
The monument stands on Tollerodden.
Daytrip by boat to Svenner!
The boat trip from Stavern to Svenner lighthouse takes approx. 0,5 hours. You can choose whether you take the trip as a round trip, or you can stay on the islands until the next departure.
Daily route from 21 June to 17 August
The boat will depart from Dampskipskaia in Stavern 3 times a day, at 10.00, 12.00 and kl. 15.00 every day.

Stavern-Svenner May to September
From May – September, the route can be offered by taxiboat / pre-booking only.
The route boat is operated by Bolærnebåtene AS. The Bolærnebåtene also operate the taxiboat "Vassvegen" which will be a supplementary and reserve boat for the scheduled boat to Svenner.

Kayak
Enjoy a wonderful experience of the sea and the archipelago in a kayak. In kayaking you have the opportunity to paddle into narrow straits and discover special places. In addition, it is good training to paddle in a kayak.
Age: Must be over 16 years old or accompanied by an adult. Having a wet cards is highly recommended.
Place: You can pick up the kayak at entrance at Fredriksvern Verft. From there it is only 100 meters to the water.
SUP
Paddling on a Stand Up Paddleboard is a great way to get out on the water. Enjoy the freedom of movement and relaxation you get from paddling on a SUP, while you get good training in the core muscle. The boards are stable, so you do not have to be afraid to play on the board,
Age: Must be over 16 years old or accompanied by an adult.
Place: The boards can be picked up and paddled straight out from Galeien at Fredriksvern Verft.
In the café you can enjoy a good lunch, delicious dinner, barista coffee or something else good by the glass. You can find the menu on the Facebook page. Every Wednesday pork & dip is served.
In the backyard you will find a separate oasis, the Festival Garden with seating for 150 people. In the summer season there is a separate outdoor bar, outdoor kitchen and pergola. Here you can enjoy good food and drink in the summer. On the plateau "Usikten" you can enjoy a view of the Larviksfjorden and the evening sun until it sets.
