This standalone workshop is part of a series exploring Greek goddesses. This session focuses on Demeter, goddess of harvest and growth, and her daughter Persephone.
The myths of Demeter and Persephone provide inspiration for writing exercises and reflection on creativity, the cycles of nature, the relationship between mother and daughter, and gratitude.
The workshop takes place at Kjersti’s smallholding, approximately one hour from Oslo and 40 minutes from Tønsberg. The day combines writing and reflection with time spent in a rural setting.

Historiene vi etterlater oss
Join author and journalist Jens M. Johansson in conversation with author and journalist Ina Strøm about his new novel Bare la dem komme (2026).
The novel follows Tom, who visits his mother Camilla after two years without contact. She lives alone in a run down house by a lake and is seriously ill. As time passes, Tom asks her to tell him about her life. Her stories explore love, restlessness, rebellion, loss and longing.
Bare la dem komme explores the relationship between a mother and son, memories, grief and what remains when a person approaches the end of life.
The conversation will explore the novel and themes including literature, family relationships, grief, love and the life stories we leave behind.
