Sommerutstilling 2026

This summer, the gallery presents works by Ørnulf Opdahl, a Norwegian artist known for landscape paintings inspired by the natural scenery of Northwestern Norway. His motifs often draw on the sea, mountains, and sky, and his artistic expression moves between figurative and abstract forms. The works are characterized by a distinctive use of colour and a focus on light, movement, and atmosphere.

The summer exhibition also includes works by sculptor Elena Engelsen. She is best known for her figurative sculptures of animals and people, created in bronze and stone. Her work combines naturalistic elements with a poetic expression, with a particular emphasis on movement, character, and anatomy. Engelsen is also known for the tiger sculpture located outside Oslo Central Station.

This year's summer exhibition additionally features three photographs by Per Maning. In 2019, Galleri Brandsrup presented the exhibition Fragile Lives, showcasing works by Per Maning and Elena Engelsen.

The gallery is open Tuesday to Sunday, 11:00–17:00.
