Fly with Dakota Norway – Summer 2026
The flying season starts on Sunday, 28 June, and after extensive winter maintenance, Dakota Norway is once again ready to take visitors on unforgettable flights above Vestfold. Experience a unique journey aboard the historic DC-3 Dakota, known as the “Silver Bird”, and enjoy spectacular views of the coastline and countryside from the air.
Flights depart from the Dakota Hangar at Torp Airport. Passengers should arrive one hour before departure. Advance booking is recommended via dakotanorway.no, but tickets may also be available at the hangar on the day of departure.
DC 3 Dakota is Norway's oldest airworthy passenger aircraft, built in 1942. Flights on Sundays (and a few other days) during the summer season 2026. Join a wonderful round trip over the Vestfold archipelago at a good sight-seeing altitude (330 meters).
The historic and valuable passenger aircraft is based at Dakota Hangar at Torp airport. Meet up from 12:00. Book in advance, or on sight.

Bring family or friends to Hvalen Minigolf by Sandefjord harbour. Enjoy ten holes with maritime-themed obstacles, friendly competition and a relaxed summer atmosphere just a short walk from the quay.
Ten holes inspired by the sea
Play a course inspired by Sandefjord's maritime heritage. Anchors, ropes and beach stones give the course its character, while a variety of obstacles put your accuracy and patience to the test. Can you guide the ball through a pipe, balance it along a narrow wooden strip or land it in the basket? On the Battle Course, everyone can play at once and try to knock their opponents' balls aside. Collect a club and ball from the kiosk and complete the ten holes at your own pace. Clubs are available for both children and adults.
Combine minigolf with more experiences
Enjoy an ice cream, a soft drink or freshly brewed coffee from the kiosk. The course is located below Scandic Park Sandefjord, close to the waterfront promenade. Continue your day by the sea with a visit to Strømbadet, a floating bathing facility just a short walk away. You can also explore Sandefjord's maritime heritage at the Whaling Museum, featuring a life-size blue whale model and exhibitions about the town's whaling history.

Hvalen Minigolf is located at Sandefjordsveien 7, close to Sandefjord harbour. The course operates seasonally, and opening hours depend on the weather. During the registered 2026 summer season, opening hours were noon to 8 pm. Check the latest information before visiting.
One ticket includes a round of all ten holes. Separate prices are available for children, adults and families. Payment is accepted by card, Vipps or cash.
