Tønsberg Municipality offers four centrally located motorhome parking areas, each with its own advantages, whether you prefer beachfront surroundings, easy access to the town centre, or a peaceful base for exploring the area. Please note that these parking areas are for motorhomes only (caravans are not permitted).

Skallevold
Skallevold is the largest motorhome parking area in Tønsberg and enjoys a scenic seaside location. It is within easy walking distance of a sandy beach, playground and coastal trail, making it ideal for families and visitors who want to stay close to nature.

Fjordgaten is a quiet and sheltered motorhome parking area located close to the town centre. From here, it is only a seven-minute walk to the city centre, while the nature trail leading to the Ilene Nature Reserve is just nearby.

Grand Nobel Apartments

Welcome to Grand Nobel Apartments situated in Tønsberg centre and with easy access to all amenities. Here you may stay for one night or several months. Krukehavn Guest Harbour

Kruke, also called Sandøsund, has a beautiful sandy beach with natural sands on the inside of the harbor. Here you will find restaurants, shops, kiosks and art exhibitions in the summer season.

Havna Camping

Havna Camping is located on the grounds of Havna Hotel & Sjøbad and is available exclusively to seasonal campers*.

There are large grass fields and woodlands nearby, and cater to great sunny conditions and shelter from wind.

The camping ground facilitates its own private bocce court, and at the hotel grounds there are opportunities for more outdoor activities such as minigolf, tennis, shuffleboard, bike rentals and use of the kids playground. The hotel facilitates entertainment and sports arrangements throughout the summer months, such as RIB-excursions, kayak lessons and hire, guided bike rides, piano bar, sauna rituals and more. 

The camping is family and dog friendly.
