Brodr. Berggren seafood-shop

The location of Brødrene Berggren is central – in the middle of the harbour in Sandefjord. A rich selection of fish and other seafood is offered here, with the main emphasis on the local short-traveled food; – what the fishermen at their three receptions have caught.

In the production, fillets are cut by hand so that the quality of the fish is maintained in the best possible way. Brødrene Berggren have their own smokehouse, where all the smoked fish you find in the shop is produced the old-fashioned way.

The building also houses the restaurant Brygga 11, a well-renowned seafood-restaurant, owned by Geir Skeie – the winner of Bocuse d'Or 2009.

Warm sauna ready

When you arrive, the sauna is already warm and inviting, ready to give you a soothing experience. You don't have to worry about firewood or heating – everything is ready, so you can focus on relaxation and well-being.

The offers:

1. Single ticket – Shared Sauna

Access to the shared sauna for 1 hour and 50 minutes. This gives you the opportunity to enjoy the healing heat with others in a social atmosphere. The sauna can accommodate up to 20 people, but to give you the best possible experience and privacy, there is a limit of 12 people per group. This ensures that everyone has plenty of space and can relax without it becoming too crowded.

2. Aufguss/Rituals

Experience a sauna ritual led by an experienced sauna master. During the ritual, aromatic essential oils are used that are released through steam and heat, creating a healing and refreshing atmosphere. The sauna master circulates the steam in a specific way, and by using towels or fans, the effect of the heat and scent is intensified. This not only gives you a physical cleansing, but also a mental break from everyday life.

3. Private Booking

Are you looking for a more personal and private experience? Then you can rent the entire sauna. This gives you full control over the experience, whether you want to use the sauna for a custom celebration, a team building activity or a quiet gathering with family and friends. 4. Fjord Cruise & Sauna Experience

In the store, you can order all of the around 100 bunads that are carried by Norsk Flid Husfliden around the country. With expertise built up over many decades, emphasis is placed on you getting the good feeling of authenticity and belonging by owning and wearing a beautiful bunad. At Husfliden you get personal service and close follow-up until you are a satisfied and proud owner of your new bunad.

If you want to sew your own Vestfold Bunad, good guidance is offered.

At Norsk Flid Husfliden you will also find accessories for the bunad, such as silver, silk shawls and shoes.

Yarn

Husfliden in Sandefjord has a large and rich yarn department. With professional expertise, you get help to get started or further develop your knitting projects. In the shop you will also find a large selection of inspiring knitting patterns. You will also find ready-made knits such as the classics Marius, Fana, Islender and Varde sweather. 

Souvernirs, gifts and interior

Husfliden specializes in Norwegian and local design, and is genuinely interested in Norwegian design and what is created in Norway. In the store you will find a selection of handpicked products, everything from classics such as Marius jumpers and Røros blankets and pillows, Ekelund, LilleLam and wooden products.

Fat og Fe

The food section of Fat og Fe’s farm shop holds Debio’s gold certification label, meaning that more than 90% of the food products sold are organic. The shop offers a selection of organic groceries in a cozy brewhouse setting, and many products are sold in bulk. Customers are welcome to bring their own containers to fill with items such as oats, raw sugar, and flour.

A kitchen with a small bakery has been established on site, producing sourdough bread, cookies, biscuits, granola, and other baked goods for the shop. All products are organic and developed by the farm shop staff.

In addition to organic food, the shop offers a selection of sustainable, environmentally friendly, and small-scale produced goods, including interior items, cleaning products, skincare, and kitchen equipment. The assortment is regularly updated with new items such as books, clothing, and shoes. Ceramics and firewood produced on the farm are also available. The products are carefully selected by the team behind Fat og Fe.

The visitor experience is an important part of the offering. While Fat og Fe does not operate a café with a menu, visitors can enjoy a cup of organic coffee and homemade organic baked goods in the outdoor areas, including a veranda with a view. There is no indoor seating, but outdoor facilities include a garden, sandbox, and swing, suitable for children to explore.

The shop is run by Thea, who grew up on the farm, together with employees Kaja, Silje, Celine, and Benedicte. The shop can be contacted by email or phone if needed.

On November 20, 2008, a new and expanded Hvaltorvet opened.

Today, Hvaltorvet has 55 stores where you can find something for the whole family.

Ulving Kunsthandel

Ulving Kunsthandel is a family-run gallery that has been in the same premises since the 1930s. Here you will find art and antiques over 600 m2 spread over 2 floors. Here you can see both classical and modern art, silver, faience, weapons, peasant antiques, maritime objects, etc.

 

Kur Sauna – Lahelle

The sauna is located at Lahelle, with a view out to the Lahellefjord. Here you will experience the wind and the weather from inside a well-heated sauna. You can take a cold bath from the floating jetty outside the sauna. Open all year round. 

Sauna treatment for good health and well-being

The concept is to be able to offer a service that provides better health and well-being. Ice bathing is a large part of the concept, and the combination of sauna and ice bathing with correct breathing techniques has an enormous health effect that more and more people has experienced.

Anxiety, depression, sleeping problems, chronic pain, stress-filled life or poor blood circulation, the sauna and ice bathing will be an effective form of treatment, with no side effects other than increased energy and good mood. 

Events

There are weekly events in the sauna, like rituals with aufguss, full moon ritual and sauna yoga. There is also possible to book group lessons outside set times.

Tuesdays and Thursdays there is open sauna for all from 12-6pm. The sauna is spacious, with space for 10-12 people.

Rosenlitunet (Rosenli Gård)

Rosenlitunet is a small farm outside Tønsberg, offers an open animal park and garden. Café and farm shop with a lot of organic food.

The farm has 6 beautiful warm and soft horses, and you can also meet the farm's 10 cats, 2 dogs, chickens, rabbits, cows, calves, goats and peacocks.

School Holidays at Rosenlitunet
The visitor farm and café are open daily from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
From 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM, registered children can take part in horse grooming and guided horse leading.

At the café, children can sign up for rabbit feeding and receive herbs along with guidance on how to interact safely with the rabbits.

The farm also features mini carousels and a café serving cookies, ice cream, soft serve, waffles, pizza, cold drinks and barista coffee.

The bakery have their own farm shop, open daily from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
